Start with your AOG model number

Every American Outdoor Grill has a model number stamped on a data plate near the control panel or on the inside of the cabinet door. AOG built-in grills come in three main sizes: 24-inch, 30-inch, and 36-inch, with popular model numbers including 24NB, 24NG, 24NP, 24PC (24-inch), 30NB, 30PC, 30NBL, 30NBT (30-inch), and 36NB, 36PC (36-inch). AOG also offers T-Series and L-Series configurations across these sizes. Write down your model number before ordering parts — it is the key to finding the correct fit.

Match the part to your burner configuration

Most AOG built-in grills use a combination of 304 stainless steel tubular burner tubes (OEM part 24-B-06), heat plates (also called heat shields or flame tamers), and igniters with the Flame Thrower ignition system. Common replacement part numbers include the 12461 burner tube (14.5" x 6.25"), 92461 and 90351 heat plate shields, and S9246A / S9035A stainless steel heat plates. Replacing all three components — burners, heat plates, and igniters — at the same time is the most reliable way to restore even heat distribution and prevent flare-ups on your AOG grill.
